DESCRIPTION

Wandoor Beach is a serene and secluded beach located in the southern tip of Andaman Island, just 19 kilometers away from Port Blair. The beach is famous for being the gateway to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, which boasts of numerous unexplored islands, including the popular Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Islands. To visit these islands, one has to board a boat from the Wandoor Beach jetty.

The beach itself is a great place to relax after a visit to the Marine National Park. While no water activities are available on this beach, visitors can enjoy a picnic or spend quality time with their loved ones. Swimming is strictly prohibited due to strong currents in the water.

Wandoor village, where the beach is located, has a few accommodation options such as Sea Princess, Acc 2, and Acc 3.
